Don’t forget to have a go at our three revealing relationships games…

How Respectful are you to your partner?  Get real with yourself and try our Respectometer game to find out.

What is important to you in a relationship?  The Pyramid Game will help you decide.

Why do YOU think people mistreat their partners?  The ‘Excuses Excuses’ game uncovers the real reason for abuse.

Respectometer - Test your relationship online

Helping your mates

You may have come onto this site looking for information on what to do if your friends or family are experiencing abuse in their relationships. Remember four things when you try to help:
  • Keep Safe
  • Offer support – listen to them and believe what they tell you
  • Know where to go for help – Help lines, police in an emergency
  • Try and understand why it might be difficult for someone to leave an abusive relationship
If you are living at home and abuse is happening between your parents or guardians remember that the violence is never your fault.

  • Understand why it is difficult for someone to leave a violent relationship
  • Think about how to stay safe when there are arguments
  • Know where to call for help
  • Know how you can get out of the house if you need to
  • Think about safe places to go, or people you trust to help
  • Talk to someone you trust about what is happening; this might be a confidential helpline or a person that you know.
